HW 2/23 Part Uno
As I read the article about AVODAH, I found out that this organization’s main focus is on advocacy. This organization helps other fellow Jews stand up for their rights and help others who are in need. For example, AVODAH has advocates who support and help others speak their mind and stand up for their rights. Religious affiliations, practices, and beliefs shape advocacy by getting a group of people, with the same common goal, and pursue it by standing up for their beliefs. This is a really good idea because it will give them a better chance of being heard. Also, these religious affiliations often encourage other communities to do the same thing and make the world even better. Their main purpose to make a connection between the Jews and Social activism, which in this case is advocacy.

I think Avodah is also a good idea because there are not a lot of Jewish organizations around. This will definitely bring the Jewish community together by letting Jews stand up for their rights and be heard. Hopefully this organization will prosper by having more people join it and by having it start in another state. Maybe other religions can start their own organization like AVODAH
